Construction on the $2-billion One Beverly Hills began with a groundbreaking ceremony on February 8th. Spanning 17.5 acres, the project features the West Coast's first Aman hotel and nearly 200 luxury condos in Beverly Hills' tallest towers, reaching 26 and 32 stories. Central to the development is an 8.5-acre botanical garden, home to over 200 Southern California plant species, above a vast underground garage for 1,800 vehicles. Beverly Hills has unveiled its first "green street" along a three-block stretch of Burton Way, transforming a formerly sparse median into a vibrant garden adorned with native plants and abstract art, complemented by a cutting-edge water reclamation system. This $12 million eco-friendly initiative, promises to lessen pollution in nearby waterways and reduce the city's water usage by 5 million gallons annually. The transformation signifies a significant environmental milestone for Beverly Hills, with the Burton Way project leading the way in urban sustainability and conservation efforts.
