Visionary Women | International Women’s Day Summit

Visionary Women, the premier Los Angeles-based social impact organization that supports the advancement and empowerment of women and girls, will host its most anticipated, power-packed event of the year: International Women’s Day Summit on March 6, 2024 from 8:30am to 12:00pm at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills.

This year’s program will feature a fireside chat with Gwyneth Paltrow and Honorable Nicole Avant (Think You’ll Be Happy) about mother/daughter legacies. Avant will be bestowing the Visionary Women Changemaker Award (honoree soon to be announced), and will also be celebrating her birthday and the birthday of her late mother, Jacqueline Avant.

This year there will be three Visionary awards which were created to recognize a visionary woman whose mission is to advance women’s economic empowerment in the United States. The Visionary Prize for Women’s Economic Empowerment ($75,000) sponsored by Visionary Women in partnership with Hostetler/Wrigley Foundation. Additional prizes include, the Visionary Catalyst Prize ($15,000) the Rising Visionary Award ($15,000) and Visionary Women’s new award: the Visionary Gen X Scholarship Fund, Sponsored by Moll Anderson and Visionary Women will also be presented. This year’s event sponsors include: Maurice and Paul Marciano, Hostetler/Wrigley Foundation, J.P. Morgan, GEARYS Beverly Hills, and media partner, The Wall Street Journal.

Visionary Women is the premier Los Angeles-based social impact organization that supports the advancement and empowerment of women and girls. Co-founded by the Honorable Lili Bosse and Angella Nazarian a decade ago, the organization brings together top women in business to drive social impact and effect change for pressing issues facing women and girls. Visionary Women has provided numerous grants totaling $3M to over 200 nonprofits benefiting women and girls. Some of the beneficiaries include local charities such as the Downtown Women’s Center, Chrysalis and the Women’s Earth Alliance as well as myriad crisis regions across the world.
