"I strive to give a voice to those who feel voiceless in our legal system," states Niki Akhaveissy, a dynamic Associate Attorney at Kesluk, Silverstein, Jacob & Morrison. Niki has built her legal career on a firm commitment to justice, advocating tirelessly for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sexual harassment.

For three intense years, she represented survivors in family court, obtaining restraining orders and negotiating custody with abusers. These experiences left an indelible mark on her, making her work not only a profession but a calling. "Helping these brave individuals take a new step was both heartbreaking and gratifying," she reflects.

"I strive to give a voice to those who feel voiceless in our legal system."

Shifting her focus to plaintiff-side employment litigation, Akhaveissy now represents employees in discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment and whistleblower claims against employers. She strives to level the playing field for her clients, underscoring her relentless commitment to justice.

As a member of various legal associations in Texas and California, she leverages her dual-barred status to enact changes and ensure survivors are protected in both states. "There's always a way to make a difference," she shares, exemplifying the perfect blend of humble dedication and professional pride.
